We do what we do for the love of the farm.
Because we are inspired by the land, we are constantly trying to do better by it. We are learning about regenerative practices and as we learn we aim to improve. For us, being “successful” in farming includes being responsible stewards of the land and environment. We aim to support, promote and improve the local ecosystem as we work and grow.
Because we are inspired by the land, we aim to live in harmony with the wild things that belong here. We believe there is ample room for us, our animals and the wild things, thus we’re mindful of preserving a harmonious balance with nature.
While our farm is made up of several different enterprises, our honeybees are at the center of everything we do. The plants and produce we offer are as beneficial to the bees as the bees are to them. Our methods are environmentally friendly and sustainable. We believe in and promote small farms and buying locally. We aim to leave our farm ecosystem better off than it was when we found it.
