About

We are a small family farm in eastern North Carolina.  We moved onto our farm ten years ago and have been working ever since to rehab the property and get our farm business off the ground.

Because we are inspired by the land, we strive to use sustainable practices. We’re learning about regenerative farming and are always looking to do better by the land. Our farming journey is just beginning, and we’re glad you’re here with us!

We keep honey bees and raise chickens and ADGA registered Nigerian Dwarf Goats. Our first doelings, Stella, Pippa, Rorie and Calliope, came home to the farm in June of last year. We’re working on a big herd expansion in the coming weeks, so stay tuned! Before long we will be adding goat’s milk soaps and cheeses to our offerings and will also have baby goats for sale.  We also grow specialty produce and pollinator plants. Check out our Farm Shop to see our current offerings.

“I began to see, however dimly, that one of my ambitions, perhaps my governing ambition, was to belong fully to this place, to belong as the thrushes and the herons and the muskrats belonged, to be altogether at home here…. It is a spiritual ambition, like goodness. The wild creatures belong to the place by nature, but as a man I can belong to it only by understanding and by virtue.”

Wendell Berry
